I'm a 40yo man struggling with primary progressive MS diagnosis. One of the most visible symptoms is drop foot on right limb. The brace is great since it provides the stability. Hugs the curve is the foot well. L size brace fits well into a us size 10.5 wide adaptive footwear I'm forced to use. See pic. It doesn't compensate for or help with the motion of the step. Hip joint is still responsible for tearing the foot away from the floor. It does, however, prevent the ankle from rolling, while allowing the toes and the heel to be free to move and be flexed and exercised. Giving it a 4, since the ankle strap, while being useful, likes to rotate and sometimes be a pain and a chore to reach, see and click in place when you feel like your whole body is being wrenched and rotated around with rubber ropes. Once on, the brace is worn for the majority of the day. Inside and outdoors. You feel a sturdy cage around the ankle that also helps as a guiding frame to set bones in place straight on top of providing means of bracing and stretching the major ligament in the bottom of your foot. The inflatable lining provides the feeling of the boot being filled and prevents rubbing/abrasion against the skin well. Not requiring a separate rubber squeeze-toy would have been great. It is easy to misplace. I feel that the product is reasonably priced and I'm happy for the quality of life improvement it has given me in every day life - working in the kitchen, or working out with weights. The load is still yours to carry. That's not taken away. But when you take a step and have to dedicate your entire weight to that limb for a second - you're reasonably sure that you'll succeed instead of paying for daring to move with pain.

My daughter loves it as she has an AFO but it's too bulky for her to wear cute shoes but this brace helps the same way and she can wear different types of shoes now.

    I just love this company and I’m so happy to be able to have these comfortable and supportive braces. Even though I’m in a wheelchair now I do get up and move around from time to time when I need to of course, and I’m happy that I have these in order to prevent my feet from tripping me.
